Blencathra Visit

Year 12 students had a delightful time in the Lake District, completing data collection which will go towards their coursework (NEA). This was a five day trip in January which allowed students time to explore the branches of Geography they love the most. Some spent time collecting data on the coastline of Silloth on a clear sunny day where Scotland was visible across the calm waters! Some collected data in the town of Keswick and some took an excursion up the Brundfell woodland to look into the water and carbon cycle at different land uses. Thank you to the staff who accompanied the students.
