Cricket Superstars
On Thursday 18 January, our U13 cricket team represented Highworth in the County Cricket Tournament. They finished top of their group winning all their games against Spires Academy and Dane Court. The Final was against Sandwich Technology School. The students gave an amazing performance. Our bowlers, Isobel (8NS) and Shambavi (7JP), did a great job getting their batters out. The captain, Emily (8AB), led the team to an excellent victory 159 to 79. A special thank you to John, our cricket coach, for coaching and supporting the students through the tournament. Well done to all! They are now through to the regional competition. We wish them good luck and all the best.
