Year 7 Frida Kahlo Portraits
Our Year 7 students have been exploring the fascinating world of portraiture, taking inspiration from the powerful work of Frida Kahlo. Students have been investigating how Kahlo used symbolism, colour and personal imagery to communicate identity, emotions, experiences and aspects of her life through her self-portraits. From meaningful objects to expressive details, our students are beginning to discover that a portrait can tell a story far beyond what we see on the surface.
