Study Support

At Highworth we run a Study Hub after school on a Tuesday and Thursday, this is organised by our Additional Support and Provision Lead and has a member of the SEND team at each session. Study Hub provides a place for students to work on homework, or areas of subjects they have found challenging. They can receive support with organisation, study skills and revision from staff, as well as having academic coaching from some of our Year 12 students on a wide range of subject areas, these coaches have undergone training in both safeguarding and coaching. Students are invited to a termly block of sessions following a referral made by their Director of Learning, weekly attendance is expected during that block.
