  • report absence on the Arbor app on the 1st day of absence and each subsequent day
  • address any queries to the relevant Student Support Manager

  • attend lessons with the correct books, planner and equipment
  • make positive contributions to lessons
  • liaise with teachers to complete missing work due to absences
  • offer high quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)
  • contact parents/carers if student absence is causing concern
  • participate in high quality staff training for continuous improvement
  • support students to catch up with missing work caused by absences

  • report feeling unwell to their SSM rather than contacting home directly

  • utilise first aid trained staff to support student medical needs

  • work with the school to foster respectful student relationships in person and online
  • consider joining the Friends of Highworth
  • ensure photos or films which include other Highworth students are for personal and family use only. Please do not share them more widely online
