Friends Donation
As you will know, ‘The Friends’ are our very active parent/carer and teacher association. Throughout the year, The Friends run various events such as the discos, quiz nights and the very popular Festive Fair, together with providing refreshments for many school events. We are very grateful for their efforts and are pleased to announce that The Friends have just donated an amazing £20,000 to the school to support the fund raising for the Astro and to provide further facilities to support the students.
In the past, the funds raised have been used to provide outdoor seating, science equipment, support sports clubs and the talented athletes programme, F1 in Schools and stage equipment to name just a few. All the members are volunteers and their excellent work is only possible by their hard work and dedication and by your support when requests are sent out. Thank you to all those involved with The Friends and in particular to the Committee who work hard to fundraise throughout the year.
