YEAR 12 Geography Fieldwork Trip

From 18 January to 23 January, twenty one Year 12 Geographers went on their NEA fieldwork trip to the Field Studies Council centre in Blencathra, near Keswick.  The students visited the coastal town of Silloth to experience fieldwork data collection along the sand dunes and on the beach close to housing.  They also visited the town of Keswick to investigate how urban areas are impacted by economic change.  We ended the visit with a trip to the local waterfall on the side of Blencathra mountain.  A fun time was had by all!
