Baking Inspiration

This January, twenty four of our Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition students visited Borough Market for a specialist workshop at the Bread Ahead bakery. Students gained practical experience making focaccia and ciabatta, linking directly to their curriculum work on raising agents. The day concluded with an opportunity to explore the market’s famous food stalls, providing plenty of inspiration for their future practical assignments.
