Computer Science Careers Fair
On 7 October, Highworth hosted a Careers Fair based around Computer Science. The companies showcasing careers related to Computer Science included: ADT Computing; RDT insurance software developers; EDF; The Royal Navy; Shell; Tony Gee; and three universities, Sussex, Kent and Christchurch. The students received an information booklet to complete and were given the opportunity to ask questions about different courses and career options in computing. Florence (10EG) said, “many people also took away valuable information and this opportunity has inspired them to look into the different careers they would be interested in.” Isabel (9CS) said she particularly liked when participants “engaged with us” and “allowed us to create our own programme because it was exciting.”
