GCSE Celebration 2023
The school celebrated the achievements of our current Year 12 in their GCSEs on the afternoon of Thursday 19 October. The students received their certificates and a range of prizes were awarded. Izzy and Lily, our Head Girls, introduced our guest speaker, Sophie Carr. Sophie shared some of her experiences in her address to the students about studying medical sciences and medicine, becoming a foundation doctor and clinical fellow in neonatal medicine, and now starting her training to be a Paediatrician. It was wonderful to hear about Sophie’s journey since she left Highworth in 2015 and her determination to succeed in her chosen career. Thank you to Sophie for attending and to Immy, Lily, Wren, Izzy, Coco, Ruth and Mabel for their outstanding musical contributions.
