KCC District Try-Angle Awards
The KCC District Try-Angle Awards Presentation Evening was held on Friday 5 May. The Try-Angle Awards recognise the outstanding efforts and achievements of Young People across all schools in Ashford. Four Highworth students were given awards in various categories. Liv (12JP) won Personal Development, for her multiple contributions to Highworth, and Community Action, for her work with the Community Youth Programme. Robin (12JP) won Music for significant contributions to music both within school and in the local community. Caitlin (11JP) and Lizzie (13JP) won Personal Development for their nomination speech and fundraising efforts for JP's chosen Charity, Papyrus. In addition, Rye (8JP) was one of the 3 speakers, who delivered and presented the nominations.
