Spring Concert
The Highworth Spring Concert 2023, 'A Night At The Movies' took place on Wednesday 22 March to a packed Hall. The students were incredible and performed a range of pieces of film music, from the Jurassic Park Theme, to The Prelude from Hitchcock's Psycho to the theme from Up, complete with balloons attached to the xylophones. The programme showcased the hard work of all 13 department ensembles, including two new groups; the wonderful guitar ensemble and gospel choir. The show's finale was a barn-storming performance of Live and Let Die performed by all 115 students involved in the concert. We thank all of the student performers for their dedication, enthusiasm and beautiful music and we thank everyone who came to support the concert.
We are now looking forward to HiJAC, our festival-style concert which will take place on Tuesday 4 July, outside on the field. We hope to see you there!
