Trip to Paris
It was an absolute delight to take 40 of our Year 7 students to Paris this term for a few days of culture, history, and language. For many, this was their first taste of the French capital, and they embraced every moment.
Our itinerary was packed with iconic landmarks. We enjoyed a scenic cruise along the River Seine, took a sunny stroll down the Champs-Élysées, and marvelled at the masterpieces within the Louvre. A particular highlight was wandering through the gilded halls and sprawling gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
Beyond the sightseeing, the students fully immersed themselves in the local lifestyle, sampling traditional French cuisine and practising their language skills. After busy days of exploring, we stayed in a Paris Olympics youth hostel, providing a wonderful space for everyone to unwind after a busy day. We are so proud of how the students represented the school and we already can’t wait to return!
