Remembrance Day
Highworth staff and students commemorated Remembrance Day through a poignant project where Mentor Groups collaboratively created poppies. Each student created a poppy as part of a display in the school grounds. Mr House and the Senior Prefect Team delivered a Remembrance Assembly focused on this year's theme of Service Not Self. Mia and Imogen, the Head Girls, researched both the Western and Eastern Fronts of World War Two respectively and found inspiring stories of the service offered by ordinary people in extraordinary times. Thank you to Isaac (13NS) who played the Last Post to mark the silence.
