Matilda Trip
"On 15 October and 5 November, about 240 students from Years 7, 9 and 10 went on an incredible trip to the Cambridge Theatre to watch the West End production of ‘Matilda The Musical’. Our trip, organised by the English Department, completely captivated us all. The sheer amount of talent which was presented on the stage during the performance left us all amazed by the young actors’ outstanding abilities to perform, with not only professionalism, but also confidence.
This lively experience is an amazing example of how education extends beyond the classroom. This trip successfully combined fun, inspiration and learning all into one, it allowed us all to leave the theatre feeling very thankful for being given such an opportunity."
