Nepali Culture Day
Nepali Culture Day was held on Friday 19 April. Thank you to our students, Esther and John for putting together a presentation for all students to learn about the geography, attire, cuisine and icons of Nepal. A Mindfulness colouring competition was inspired by “Yoga and Meditation Time” at our partner school, The Gorkha Secondary School. There was also a creative competition to create artwork, inspired by the Mentor Period resources, judged by The Gorkha Secondary School. The prizes were Himalayan salt candles sent from Nepal.
