GCSE Prize Giving
The school celebrated the achievements of our current Year 12 students at GCSE on the afternoon of Thursday 20 October. The students received their certificates and a range of prizes were awarded. Iyanu and Terrell, our Head Girl and Head Boy, introduced the event and our guest speaker, Alice Hall. Alice shared some of her experiences in her address to the students about playing violin all over the world with some of the finest orchestras, most notably the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players and London Chamber Orchestra. It was inspirational to hear her advice about determination to pursue a career in what you enjoy doing most. Thank you to Councillor Nathan Iliffe for attending as our guest and to Sarah, Miriam, Mia, Robin and Esther for their outstanding musical contributions.
