French Trip to Rue
“On our trip, we went to Rue from Friday 30 June to Monday 3 July. Rue is an hour away from Calais and is a very small town. Whilst we were there, we went to the beach, the local markets, a snail farm and a theme park (Parc Asterix). We also stayed in a beautiful château. The château was my favourite part as it was a lovely place with historical paintings, staircases, tapestries and armoury. At the château we had a tour and we learnt about the history of le Château du Broutel. The people who worked at the château were so kind and caring and they took us on a tour of Rue and told us some fun facts about the town.”
