HEAD OF PHYSICS/TEACHER OF PHYSICS

Start Date: January 2024

We wish to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Physics who is committed to raising the achievements of our students.

This post would suit an ambitious, experienced teacher with middle management aspirations who would enjoy working in a supportive and successful school. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE and A level.  A TLR is available for the Head of Department post.

We are also willing to consider applications for a Teacher of Physics from experienced or early career teachers.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1536 students with 449 students in the Sixth Form (79 boys).  We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.
