We wish to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of History & Politics who is committed to raising the achievements of our students.
This post would suit an ambitious, experienced teacher with middle management aspirations who would enjoy working in a supportive and successful school. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE and A level. A TLR is available for this post.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1537 students with 451 students in the Sixth Form (100 boys). We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.
The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in June 2013. In 2019 our A Level results placed us in the top 25% of schools nationally.
