TEACHER OF SCIENCE

We require an enthusiastic, inspirational and ambitious teacher of Science, who is committed to raising the expectations and achievements of our students.  The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge and a passion for the sciences.  The ability to teach Biology to A Level would be an advantage.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1542 students with 459 students in the Sixth Form (100 boys).  We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London. 

The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in June 2013.  In 2019 our A Level results placed us in the top 25% of schools nationally.
