Highworth Choirs, Orchestra and Folk Band gave of their best in a sparkling evening of great music at Revelation Ashford on Friday evening 27 January 2017. In collaboration with Revelation Strings (the Kent-based String Orchestra, conducted by David Burridge) and the inspirational professional cellist and opera-singer Matthew Sharp, the groups performed separately and together.

Highworth's Chloe Powell gave a beautifully heartfelt rendition of 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' accompanied by the Strings, all the instrumentalists shook the venue with 'Jurassic Park', the Folk Band and Strings delivered 'Gravel Walk' at breakneck speed and the culmination of the evening saw the choirs and strings combine with music from the film 'The Mission'.
